Named after Gen. James Oglethorpe who founded Savannah in 1733. His first impression reminded him of the beautiful Savanna's along the African Coast. This green is protected by menacing left and right sand traps and a towering oak tree. A long straight drive is rewarded with a small chip into large green. The green has numerous breaks making a birdie putt tough. |
